Wanting to modifiy a Massey 1010 cab for my husq!

Hi,

I have the chance to purchase a Massey 1010 Cab for 100.00 even. Includes doors and glass. Now the massey 1010 is a little wider then the tractor I want to put this cab on, As it is also longer. I am seeking advice to weither its worth purchasing this cab and making it fit. Here are the pictures and dimensions. Width of my tractor 30 1/2 inches, Total Length of my tractor 63 inches.

Total dimensions of the massey are as follows, but since the cab is the same width as the tractor

Wheelbase: 50.8 inches [129 cm]
Length: 85 inches [215 cm]
Width: 41.9 inches [106 cm]

I see that you are in Echo Bay. I'm in Prince Township not very far apart.

I think that it would be worth purchasing the cab and making it fit. The only thing I see that could cause a problem is that little window in the door. I would ad a larger window. I'm guessing it's located at Northshore Tractor.

Happen to have any john deere tractors? Or parts? . I am trying to get a hold of work to go purchase the cab, Yes its located at northshore tractor.

From the photos I would say add width to the platform. You can use angle iron to mount the cab to. You can make brackets that mount under the existing platform and extend out to the width of the new cab. If I am correct the cab looks like it is mounted on the loader frame mount.

Updated, Bought the cab, Heres the pics

Fits with only a inch overhang

Only issue is its to low, So will be raising it a bit

Ok, Ran into a couple issues, the ones in the front I think i have figured out, The clutch,muffler,and oil filter will be in the way, but I think I have fixed that. Now, On the rear the seat when down sticks out the back to far, And the fuel filler is in the way of the cab, I am not able to move the seat ahead any as its tight as it is up there. So any ideas?
