Currently 25F, the high for the day.

Done traveling, at least for this week. Tuesday, I traveled 4 1/2 hours due west, with a stiff blow out of the north. Had to fight it out and back. Yesterday, it was blowing out of this south. I could NEVER be a truck driver. My hat is off to them boys!!

Shouldn't complain, as I don't have to travel to often - AND the rest of the time I work from home, which is "SWEET"!!

You never know...

We started moving last April and we are not rally even close to "moved-in" we live in functional dis-function... not the least of which is we moved from almost 6000 square feet to 1340 finished square feet & no garage...

So...

At 0500 it was 20 at Mossflower Woods and it was 20 here in a hotel in Laurel MD (according to weather.com). I stayed in a hotel nearby on points due to the distance driving and not wanting to risk being late. I was up in DC area all day again yesterday and this was less total driving.

Hope the job works out for you David! We have 1600' of living space, a 12 x 20 building and a permit for a garage. All I need are several hundred cubic feet of dollars a lot of time and a little help.
By the way, 22 miles from the beach, plenty of room for the camper and a hot cup of coffee! :thumbsup:

I don't think it was more then a month ago...

As far as why I'm posting so much....you folks know I do contracted QA work and my last contract ended in Sept...a bit earlier then expected (client company reorganized some departments). The last quarter of the year is dead for contractors...companies just don't hire 'em in Oct, Nov or Dec. Like sales guys, contractors have to enjoy the good times and plan for the lean times.

Anyway, gave me a lot more time on TBN...since I've been a member since 2001 and took a year off, my average annual post count was a bit over a thousand...now it took me a month do do a thousand (approximately).

BTW, I did two really good phone interviews yesterday (2012-01-18) that might produce some results. One was a permanent job at a former customer, the other was a really cool contract for a company based in CA that has some long term work in the Mid-Atlantic (PA, MD, VA) area. Personally, I'd like the contract job...but I know my wife would prefer I took the permanent one...if either are actually offered.

Two cups of coffee down, momma has gone to work. 27 F headed for 30 F, light snow in the forecast for the next couple of days, has been fairly mild winter so far with little snow to speak of, not that I am complaining:laughing:

Good morning all. Ended up with 4 1/4 inches of light powdery snow, usually out here the snow is wet and heavy. Not as cold overnight, about -5C, water in the chicken coop wasn't :thumbsup: frozen over.
