I have been looking for a pair of coveralls that are the standard weight (not insulated) with a zipper on the leg so I don't have to remove my boots each time I put on or take off the coveralls.
Red Kap does not make them anymore and Key Industries does but is not providing me with any customer service in answering my questions about sizes. Key wants a restocking fee and wants me to pay for return shipping if they don't fit.

Having someone put in zippers is an option but not the best option.

Does anyone out there know of another brand that has the zipper on the leg.

Look around the Sportsman Guide site. I think they had non-insulated coveralls. I just linked to the first ones I saw with a zipper.

Some of these are factory "seconds". I've a bib overall (Carhartt's) factory second (from Sportsman's Guide) that have served me well for 10 years

I have a couple of sets of uninsulated coveralls but neither has zippered legs. My insulated ones have that feature. I have never seen any uninsulated coveralls with zippered legs. If you find any please let me know. (I will keep looking as well)

Well billybob, I realize you are looking for non-insulated but I have a pair of thinly insulated OSH-KOSH B'Gosh that were approximately half the cost and weight of Carhartt and mush less bulky. I've had both and prefer OSH-KOsh B'Gosh. Mine are probably 10 years old and designs change sometimes but mine have a zipper leg that goes nearly to the waist band which I find real convenient.

But I do prefer overalls for ease of in and out of vehicles, bending and possible urgent Uncle John trips to the crapper, with this style suspender buckle.

Maybe I should have been a B'Gosh salesman rather than a mechanic.

Carhart makes them, I have a set. I had to order them originally but can now buy them at the local farm store.
