I'm wondering if some things need adjusted on my L4400?

I felt the same way about my FEL(that is was a little weak) and checked the hydraulic pressure. Found out it was a few hundred pounds low and set it to spec and all was good.

Yep, that's on my bucket list too.

First.....The throttle lever has about an inch of play from idle position until the rpm's actually start to rise when increasing rpm's. Not a big deal, just wondering if this is fairly normal.

Second....The 3PH does not start to rise until I hit around the #4 position with the lever. So what good does #'s 1-3 do me? I've tried adjusting the valve knob under the seat with no change. All I get is faster or slower raises and none if completely closed. I would like the 3PH to move when I hit the lever, isn't this what position control is all about? I also have the infamous jerky 3PH hitch and I think I'm the only one on the boards with a L4400 that has this issue. Its not to terribly bad to bother me but I'm wondering if something needs adjusted considering the late response of the 3PH with the lever.

Any suggestions?
They are count down to lift off...:D
