I think you made a good choice for your tiller needs, and your not going to over stress your tractor, some don't mind putting their equipment to max. power, it is better to run it for its intended perpuse. putting attachments made for larger tractors will just shorten the life of your tractor. I have to watch myself, because sometimes bigger is not better. And your tractor is an investment, not a toy.

I spoke with KK on the phone while I was at TSC with the store manager. The subcompact tiller is a KK. However, in the Spring the subcompact unit will be made by Tarter Gate. It is for now a KK XB model.

I have a Bush Hog brand 62inch tiller that I use in the spring to till several gardens. It will till any ground, whether it is plowed or not. Power is not an issue what so ever. If you can afford it, I would go bigger

I just went to TSC and purchased their Countyline 4ft tiller for subcompacts. It is made by KK. It is the 4ft XB model. Price was 1260 plus tax. A great price. Should have it in 3 weeks.

Is the TSC model chain or gear driven? The one I looked at earlier this year at TSC was chain driven and I wanted gear driven. That being said, I think either type will work fine and last a long time for the 2300/2400/2600 series. I ended up purchasing a KK-XB-TG (TG = Gear; TC = Chain) this past Spring and I love it (plus the dealer actually had it in red to match the MF). It's amazing how fast you can till virgin/rocky soil w/ these units.

Why wait? Till frozen ground. Put it to the ultimate test. On a diifferent note. Are those wheel weights on your 2410? If so, how much and where did you get them?
