Sparc - it's good to hear that your 534 handled those big storms. The reason I got the snowblower is that I just got rid of my F250 with the plow. I wasn't going to start shoveling after all those years of sitting in my truck sipping my coffee while cleaning up after a big snowstorm. So after the storms we had here in CT last year I was a little worried about how the 530 would handle a big storm. But now you have put my mind a little more at ease. Of course I realize that it is not going to compare with sitting in the warm cab of my truck. Did you go out only once after the big storms or did you go out more than once during the storm?

thats why i have a nice warm ... hot actually.. cab tractor :)

In the up position, that blower sure is close to the ground?

I hear you there too! Kinda glad we waited, as the ergos of the 1600 series are a little better than the 1500. :) And love the AC too. :)

Living in central Ill. we poor folks don't see NEAR enough snow. I'm still waiting on a winter like we had in the late 70's and early 80's. I was a teenager then but would still like to get wallopped this winter with one:thumbsup:

I live almost directly across for Athol in Washington. No heated Cab, just purchased a 54 inch blade for my X744. I will suit up insulated coveralls. I should have live differently. lol

After weathering the wind and cold for near 40 years on open station tractor, I added a snowmobile helmet and really made a world of difference.
Might look strange, but no more frozen face and frosted-shut squinty eyes.

Yep, just purchased a 54 inch blade and all the necessary items. I suspect now it will be like two years ago when we had very little snow. It always seems to happen that way.
