hi all..
I am a South Africa who has chosen to live in East Africa based in Nairobi Kenya and Mwanza Tanzania.I am looking to offer maintenance for and supply spare parts to earth Moving and farming clients who have had the short straw when it comes to quality service and spare parts delivery.
So I joined this forum to meet like minded guys to bounce ideas an different subjects that might arrive for my clients.
The range of tractors is small here in East Africa. Ford-New Holland,Case.Massey Ferguson and John Deere. many models are OLD and in poor condition with parts books well if they were they are no longer.
training if maintenance staff has been poor and so many have had to make a plan to make the machine operate.and have done well but now seek better ways to do things.
Funds are short so if i ask for parts book Please tell me where i might find then free or lowest cost.
I hope to call on this forum for the assistance my client base has not received for the producers of the different machines due to the size of the market. Understand just because there is an OEM supplier /agent does not mean the serivce is what it should be.
So if I meet any like minded people from Africa i would want to join hands to move the plan forward.
I will also be looking to the further were I look for partners to come into the market and service it bring qualified persons to assist and train Africans to do what should be done.
if any one thinks i am looking at pie in the sky ..comments are welcome.BUT remember BOTH The Indian and Chinese are here farming the clients with their quality of service we all know.
That is the introduction..
