Skidsteer to 3 pt adapter

Just thought I'd share a project I built several years ago.
This adapter allows use of just about any non-pto driven attachment on the front of tractor. It's original purpose was to enable me to use 3 pt implements on the skidsteer. Now that I have the new Mahindra with SS quick connect, I am able to share many SS attachments that I had, like the 8' boom pole in the picts. Please excuse the rust/mud. I have since cleaned and repainted it.

I would like to build the same thing. How do you keep the lower 3pt attachment on the square tube from sliding back and forth? Do you have a nut with a bolt some place to tighten down to keep the square tube tight against the tube frame?

On mine, it does slide, but only moves a couple of inches. With most implements, it is hooked "hard" or firm, on the top link, so that keeps it pretty much centered.

I'm working on the same thing for my JD4100.

My bucket detaches and has a system to mount JD accessories to it, but JD wants 1400 for the plate! Thinking about getting the quick attach that Harbor freight sells and mounting it with quick release pins so I can still use it on the 3pt. Main reason for the whole deal was being able to use my 3pt fork attachment on my fel. I'll be starting a post soon with pics.

NICE job. I have a similar unit bought commercially. Not as strong as yours I think, but does fine for my uses so far. Ill have to be careful to reinforce it if I start HD use. Lots easier to prevent damage than repair it.
