Where does the toolbox mount on the Kubota M7040

I will likely look to put on something bigger but in the meanwhile the tractor came with a toolbox sitting on the cab floor.

I believe it mounts somewhere as it has holes in the bottom - and I don't recall reading it in the manual - might have missed it.

Mine is mounted just beneath of the fuel fill and to the left of the steps on the left side of the machine as you are sitting in it. The mounting bracket is actually attached to the loader.

That is odd. My toolbox is located just behind the seat on the top of the "firewall" piece of tin that separates the PTO area from the seat.

It came from the dealer mounted there.

However, since you both have a cab it may be completely different and not be able to be mounted behind the seat. Mounting it there would make it a pain to get to also.

You may want to ask the dealer where to mount it - or even why the tractor didn't come with it mounted.
