Which Rattle-can Paint is closest to Kioti Orange?

Guys,

I want to paint a couple ammo cans etc to match the tractor so i can use them as tool boxes etc.

Who/which spray can paint is the closest match to my new favorite color?

And it is a great color!:thumbsup:

you can get an exact match from the dealer. The engine paint for an older chevy is close.

I bought an RFM, Sicma, which paints in Kioti color because they are Kioti's OEM for the mower. Long story short, it came shipped with some scratches and scrapes, no big deal. I can tell you that the Chevy engine orange was a flat out perfect match.

Still, a dealer will have the official paint.

So the dealer will have "official" paint for $$$, but I can get Krylon Chevy Orange engine paint for $... Is that the way to read it? I suspect engine block Krylon will be better paint as far as that goes.

Just don't tell anyone I'm running Chevy Orange anything because I'm a hard core Ford guy...

My Woods BB72x rotary cutter came in what the dealer called "Kubota/Kioti" orange. He said the difference is just a couple drops of red added to the Kioti. I would need to see them side by side to really tell. It is nice when they match. I was surprised at how many scratches the mower had on it brand new, and it has got some nice new ones lately and I have not hogged that much.

Many auto parts/paint supply stores can mix the colour you want and put it in a rattle can.

There is also a paint called machinery grey for touching up the chassis etc. It comes in a spray can.

That info aside, I go to Tractor Supply and buy Valspar "New Kubota Orange" for my tractor. Valspar also has "Kubota Orange" for older tractors.

Good info for a Kubota, but the OP has a Kioti.
