Got all my "stuff" loaded to make the 1.5hr haul to the farm. Never thought that I might need more trailer than the 20ft.. Tractor, tiller, mule, 3 ladder stands and 400lbs fertilizer..:D Thought the saftey police might want to chime in...:D This food plot stuff requires lots of equipment..

Now that is exactly what I told my wife!! I do have 400lbs of fert in the back of the truck BUT I could get a NEW Herd spreader back there! I cant wait until I go plant- will have everything you see now (minus deerstands) but will have the cultipacker somewhere?? I got to buy more racket straps before then..

Put the 400 lbs of fert in the Rhino Bed and then you do have room in the pickup for more toys. Where is the tractor FEL? Your are correct it is time for a larger trailer as the truck will take more.

looks like a nice setup, two fine diesels on both ends - bota and Duramax.

Enjoy the work or should we say playtime at the farm.

I am also loaded for the first trip of the year to the hunting camp. I noticed your trailer tongue box. What is the height of that box. I have not been able to find a box that will allow my jack handle to clear. Good luck with the food plots.

I have the same problem. I have a 20 foot GN trailer well its and 18+2. WHen I pull my trailer it handles everthing fine. When i use my 1 ton dump I need the skid steer loader what buckets Ill need and my forks or rake. I have to use a 16 foot trailer. I have to pack like that. I usually put my 1 yard mulch bucket on and in side that have the dirt bucket. The rake sits in fron of the trailer and the forks have pockets in the side of the trailer they slip into and pin in.

I have a 16 ft and wished that I had a 20 sometimes. Just hauled some 16 to 20 ft lumber that was water soaked, and the weight was behind the axles, and it was not very friendly on the highway.

Nice Load of good equipment!

I noted that you want to haul your culti-packer too? Why not just leave it at your land? (just hide it in the brush?)

I've got a few implements that are outside storage items....as they are pretty durable and / or it would cost more to build a shed for them than they are worth.

Same here I leave my box blade at the hunting camp hidden in the woods. I figure the elements won't do much damage since there are no moving parts and don't need it at home.

NICE TOY COLLECTION !!!!

Get a one-ton stake body with a power liftgate....or at least a pickup with a full 8 foot cargo box.

Looks all brand new or never used. Why don't you just leave it at your "farm"?

Not really loaded. Looks like a warm up for a real load. 1.5 hours, you should have gone some place.

56 Ford 1 ton, 6 cylinder engine., with a rack. Bed filled with siding, top of rack stacked with lumber. Towing a Bob Cat on a tilt trailer. A little 400 mile trip from San Diego to to Buoie AZ.

Trailing along 77 Dodge 4x4 bed stacked cab high, full size farm tractor on a trailer 2 small (car carrier) and no tongue weight. That be real fun.

60 Sheets of T1-11 siding and 50 sheets of 2x3" 1/2" due rock. Even with the due rock close to the cab, front wheels almost floating only 25 miles, but still fun with a nice 20 / 25 MPH cross wind.

It doesnt matter how big a trailer you get you will fill it up! This was the 24' I picked up for the trip home from Oregon this Feb. A little longer than 1.5 hrs:laughing:

And yes the back end is filled up to the top of the canopy

When I drove commercial straight trucks fitted with up to 24 foot cargo boxes, we used to joke that you didn't have a full load in back until you couldn't get the rear doors shut all the way...!!!!

Well I did a few times, but one afternoon I got a call to work on some food plots from a guy that I knew. His tractor broke (old 8n) and he wanted to pay me to do the work... I had to drive 2hrs there and back to get all my crap!!! so from them on I said nope bring it home now... Diesel gets about the say MPG pulling the trailer loaded or half loaded... Besides I LOVE the head turns I get going down the road and thinking about what they are saying-- Probably starts with "oh my gosh is that legal"

A third of other drivers won't notice, and another third will notice and won't care, and the remainder will simply be envious.....
