I like your set up want to come work on mine
do you have any pics on how to plump hose in I think i'll have to add a control valve
Is the fimco hand wand any count thinking cheaper may not be better
wanting to do project for under $100 dont mind rollin hose up my self just need a idea of what parts i'll need Always end up makein 10 trips to town every time I start a project
The spray wand at Tsc is all metal($78) and looks to be well made The fimco is plastic($70) with hose and mountin bracket Just wantin a little advice and some ideas

My boom has a quick attach for the hose feeding the boom. I unplug it and plug in the spray nozzle and hose. Look at these camlock quick couplers that install up by the pressure regulator. Tractor Supply Company - Sprayer Fittings & Connectors My little 50 gallon unit uses 1/2 ID rubber hose.

I always need to make 10 or more trips to the hardware store for any project I do.

Anyway, here are a couple of links to FIMCO manuals. The first is for my sprayer before I modified the crap out of it, and the next shows the handgun on a different sprayer.

These should get you started. Essentially you just tee into the line next to the main on/off valve in the FIMCO manual. I do have a flowsheet of how I plumbed mine up for what it's worth.

As for the FIMCO handgun, the plastic is as I recall just a covering to make it more comfortable to hold. The gun itself works fine.

Yeah I thought winding 25' of hose was going to be no big deal either; but fighting hose kinks and the lack of a swivel at the gun made that chore a royal PITA.

Didn't think about hose kinks and all that it would be a PITA. I think i may have it figured out. What I really liked about yours the most is the drain line. I could dump left over mix into a bucket for reuse so it want be sitting in the tank if I have any left.
A friend of mine an me rebuilt a 500gal sprayer about 5 years ago and he had about $1100 in it before he was through with it. We filled it up with water started down the road to go spray his pasture, tractor hit a pothole tank busted. Just hope that dont happen to me
Has anyone ever heard of Southern Sprayer Co. that the name on the strainer

Unless the 60-gallon plastic tank is damaged or has a manufacturing flaw in it, the chances of it breaking in such a manner as you describe with the 500-gallon tank are slim.
