Service Manual

I'm about to do the 50 service on my tractor and I would like to purchase a service manual. Is it best to just contact my dealer or are they allowed/reluctant to sell them? If not the dealer, where would be the best place? I have a 2009 DK45HST. If anyone has any info or has one for sale themself, I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Got mine from the dealer as part of the purchase - I expect they are for sale.

Would be great to have an electronic copy if anyone knows where that might be available

If I remember correctly , I think the service manual was 75$ and the parts manual was 35$ from my dealer .

Not sure how current the DK 45 service manuals might be. Over here they currently market an EX 45 which is a little different.

Depending on how far you want to go beyond service and do repairs yourself, the parts manual is a big help when reading the service manual instructions for repairs. The owners manual should be enough for just routine service. The prices I paid were similar to Carhartt56.

On a quick look, I notice the transmission chapter does not seem to cover HST (again I may have missed something) but the overall info is very useful and I appreciate you (and everyone else on this board) taking the time to help.

I actually found their eBay listings after typing in the correct search terms: 'workshop manual'. I was mainly looking for the manual to assist me on my 50hr service but not really sure it's necessary for that task. Do you think it's really worth spending the $75 for the added info?

It's like insurance. Worth every penny if you need it.

It's really been handy for me on a couple of occasions and I've only had mine for a couple of months.
But not helpful on the 50hr service.
