Egan I agree, and that's the difference between racking up posts so that you can say I have lots of posts and actually using your experience to help somebody out. How many times have you seen Bird post a ditto or some stupid pair of hands clapping and not add something intelligent to the conversation. I look forward to being retired so that I can post more.

Definatally congrats. I feel like I post on here all the time, yet only have one tenth the posts bird has.
Allthough, soundguy seems to be nipping on birds heals, and closing the gap
And I also try to make everyone of my posts meaningful and helpfull.
Allthough I will ocasionally, I will post a +2, or a :thumbsup:, or something of that sort.
But it is usually if a newbie has asked a question, and another newbie answered it very well. It is kinda like re-affirming the OP newbie since I have a good bit of posts, maybe, just maybe, by my agreeing to the second newbie, it will have more weight with the OP newbie?? Or maybe I am just crazy??
Plus, It probabally makes the second newbie feel good and more welcome if someone with a lot of posts agrees with him. I know it did for me when I was a newbie:thumbsup:

Thanks for the kind words friends. Of course all my school teachers from the first grade on said I talked too much.
Kyle, I know it shows I joined Mar 2000 but I was actually a member before that. I think maybe that Mar 2000 came about when the name of the site changed.
Bruce, I'd love to park the computer and get back on the tractor, but unfortunately I had to sell the farm and move back to town for family reasons. But I've got no complaints, had more fun and more interesting experiences than anyone has a right to expect.:laughing: And still have a pretty good life.
If I can help someone else on TBN, that's great, because I've sure gotten a lot of help from other members and learned lots of things I didn't know before. And I've met some very fine people in person as well as talking to them and others on TBN.
