Brakes for a Snapper LT16

I just purchased a used one and the tractor is solid, no smoke, cranks quick and easy. The only thing wrong is the brakes don't work well and hardly no parking brake. Is this an easy fix?

There is a brake band in the back - it is probably just misadjusted. You can get a manual that will show everything at snapper.com. Go to the manuals section of the website and type in "LT16002" for model - download all of them.

Keep us posted! That LT16 is a good tractor, BTW. I use my '87 as a mower at my camp (pretty rugged terrain in spots) and it does a wonderful job. The only think that I don't like (as well as everyone else that owns them) is the stupid slip clutch in reverse. Working on eliminating that...
