Good Alternate to Deere 2520

I have been monitoring the forums for a while but this is my first post. I have a 10 acre property that has about three acres of mowing. I use a Deere x304 for this job as there are many trees to get around, works great. I want to maintain the remainder of the property (rolling terrain in Montana Mission Valley) for pheasant/bird habitat, includes 1 acre pond.

I started out looking at a Deere 2320 but researched led me to a Deere 2520. My dealer tells me the delivery will be the end of July to get a new 2320 and October for a 2530 due to the May Deere incentive plan. My main objective is FEL and and good soil prep(tilling) for game food plot preparation. Any recommendations besides the Deere 2520 appreciated.

Kubota B2320. Tough lil tractor plus most are made in Gainsville GA

Kioti CK30 or CK35, or Bobcat CT230, CT235. You'll get more tractor and save money too (over the 2520).

Thanks for the input. No Kiota dealer within 100 miles but I am going to check the local Bobcat and Kubota dealers and see what they can do.

My preference in the Kubota B Series is the 2630, 3030 and 3000 HTCC for the added weight and position control. The Bxx20 Series are good tractors, but I hate quarter inching 3ph.

These are good suggestions. You could look at Massey and Yanmar if you have nearby dealers. I bumped myself up to the 2720 but I will be using the tractor on a farm

Check the JD 3x20 series - way better FEL capacity, plus a number of other things.

If you don't need the mid pto, have a look at the Kubota B3300SU.

I would consider a 2720 to be the most similar to a 2520 and a better choice for pto operated implements. This is particularly true when needing to run a tiller or rotary cutter as the added pto power will translate into better performance.
