New John Deere 2520

I just got a quote yesterday for a new 2520, 200cx fel with 53" bucket and hood guard, and 62D mmm with independent lift - no addition hydraulics as I plan on adding my own.
Dealer quoted $19,100 out the door. What do you think on this price?

I'm assuming it is a new model 2011?
By hood guard,do you mean the grille guard? If so,that is supposed standard equipment,no extra charge.
I don't know how much JD has raised prices,but I got a 2009 2520 with the same two attachments,plus the I-Match, block heater and the SE seat (400.00). I did not get the independent lift,but did get the 61" bucket with replaceable cutting edge. Out the door for 18.
So you may be right in the ball park with that price.

I was quoted $17,000 in December. $14,000 for the 2520, $3,000 for the fel. When I was shopping it was between the 2520 and a Kubota 2920. I ended up with the Kubota.

i just paid 19,600 plus governors cut for a 2011 2520, with fel w 61" bucket, 62 mid mount mower, loaded turf tires, and a rear ballast box which they told me JD really pushes them to include with pricing because they could void warranty if something happens to front end of tractor

I purchased the 2520 with Fel, 53" bucket, 62d mmm, independent lift, and block heater for 19,100. Also did the 0% for 36. It should be ready next week. I have a set of the 36" pallet forks/rails off of ebay and steel laying in the garage to make my own light weight pallet forks, just need some dimensions off of the loader. I am in the works of designing my own ballast bracket to hang 100lb John Deere suitcase weights on.

I just ordered a 2011 2520 with 62D MMM and FEL for $18,300 + $800 for shipping = $19,100 total. No sales tax since I am in TN and the dealer is in Indiana. My first tractor!

Mine was also 19100 but I got the independent lift which is a 500-700 dollar option and a block heater

It was from my local dealer in Northern Virginia. I had a total of $300 discount coupon from EAA and frontier, so without it would have been around $16 600 or there abouts. Great first tractor for me. :cool2:

That is an awesome price. What is the name of the dealer in Northern Virginia? I am in Maryland between DC and Baltimore and would readily drive out to Northern Virginia for a price like that. Would even rent a trailer or borrow my brother's trailer to get the tractor back here. If you don't want to make the name public, how about PMing me with it.
