Well, I've decided my fairly new Daisy Powerline pump-action air rifle is not for me...It's just not fun to shoot with all the pumping (10 pump) and it's just too cumbersome...:confused2::( So...I'm looking to buy a CO2-powered pistol. I figured it would be best to ask all you fellers...;) So, do any of you shoot/have recommendations on a good air pistol? I want something that is easy to load (the Daisy is a pain) and around $50. So far, I've looked at Beretta, S&W, and H&K to name a few...

I have an old air pump pistol was/is a pretty nice fun little toy. ok accurate but my aim is gone from getting older... I picked up a new Rugar 1000FPS .177 break open pellet gun last week, came with nice scope for little over hundred buck (dang that thing is heavy!) I got it home & about 10 rounds to get the site in I plinked off a 70 pace shot on a flying/feathered rat the kept crapping on the pick-nick table & dropped it stone dead. I promptly missed the next 4 shots at closer distance & slightly farther away as I was aiming off shoulder with it. put it back on the rest & dropped a dang house roosting feathered rat at about 40 yards dead before it hit the ground. it is working to keep them squawking pooping rats out of the barn. :)

Well, I will mostly use it for target practice. (not to kill rats ;)) I'm thinking of getting the S&W M&P...

I have a Daisy Power line 45 CO2 in .177. It has 10 shot clips and will fire as fast as you can pull the trigger. I do not recommend firing that fast as the CO2 rapidly cools off lowering the power and number of shots of the gun. The clips will only handle flat faced pellets as the pointed pellets will jam. I like it because it is fun and economical to shoot and helped me keep a shooting eye. The size was similar to my side arm I carried when working and would fit in my belt holster. Got some metal spinners and some knock downs and had a ball shooting with my kids off the back porch. I don't know if they still sell this model, it was made in Japan, and I have had it for several years.
