I am going to build a pressure washer for my BX2200 (run it from one of the PTO's). I have Comet BXD 2530G pressure pump (axial design). Will this pump run either direction.... CW or CCW. Been looking on web and not finding much. Appreciate comments from those who know more than me at this point.

I see no one knew the directionality of a pressure pump. Pump vendor is not replying either, sad what customer service is like nowadays. I believe it is bi-directional but I opted not to experiment.

BUT, I now have eliminated another gas engine to maintain. I mounted the pump on my trash pump drive (20K gph) so it is running in the normally accepted direction. The pump frame is mounted on my Kubota quick hitch system for easy on/off. I have 2.5/1 gearing on the mid PTO shaft so at normal pump RPM, engine is running at the low end. Used it for about an hour and a half yesterday morning cleaning the decks. Dirt and grime come off easy................ now, how to get the leaf stains off..........

Could you post pics...and maybe a parts list? I'd like to do this too. Thanks!

Comet BXD 2530G 25 means 2.5 gpm, 30 means 3000 psi. G means it is for gas engine. This is an axial pump. Obviously the Kubota could easily drive a higher capacity, higher pressure pump.

I need to take some pictures. This was cobbled from things I had around. I once had access to the services of a machine shop for the tapped holes on one chunk of metal which made that part easy. Otherwise it was just drill press drilled holes. Pump and other things were from Northern Tool.
