Could all you l3130 owners give me your opinion on the governor response of your tractors. I find mine just a little lazy compared to my other Kubota's and am curious if there is something wrong or if it is the nature of the beast. Also I think mine tends to smoke a little much but I have never run another so I have nothing to compare.

Is there anyway you could get yours up to speed in high gear on the road?

On flat ground at full throttle in the 2700 rpm range the tractor moves along at a good clip (16 mph). Of course it slows down when going up a hill, but learning how to back off the pedal makes a big difference.

I owned a L3130,put 400hrs. on it,currently have a L4240HSTC..you may see a little smoke on start-up or heavy load....may also be the fuel you are using.Try some power service..ups your centane.Liked my L3130HST but traded for a cab.
