hydraulic hose replacement

I need to replace the hydraulic hoses on a MF-1246 FEL. These are the flexible hoses which go to the joystick valve. I've never done any hydraulic work before. What is the procedure? Do I need to relieve the pressure first somehow? After replacement how do I bleed the system? Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

Turn Machine off. Lower loader so no pressure. Unscrew Hose. Take it to your local hose shop, Napa or one of our online sponsors. They can make they any length. Super Simple.

G'day as racerboy said lower to the ground turn engine off and operate joystick in all directions until no movement then take the hose off, to bleed the system just cycle it through it's full range eg right up/down, curl/tilt three or four times and the system will bleed itself
