Good morning,

I was wondering if there are any orange buying plans/discounts currently like the ones through John Deere?

What kind of discounts/buying plans do JD have?

I know they have $500 off loader rebate and 0% interest on many tractors.

They (John Deere) can offer free GREEN eggs and ham... I'd still prefer to have my Kubota :D

you would just have to check with your kubota dealer to see if they are running any deals.when i bought my tractor i got $1000 off since i was paying cash.

I know Kubota has Fleet pricing. I was pleasantly surprised when I bought a third Kubota within a 12 month period and rec'd Fleet pricing which was a big discount, didn't know about the discunt until I was signing the papers and the price was considerably below our agreed on price. Another reason I trust Barlows. He could have adjusted the paperwork to have made the discount go in his pocket and I would have never known the difference. Another time we were doing the paperwork a few days after making the deal and he priced it $500 or $750 less than our agreed on price because the company had sent a rebate, discount , incentive or whatever the day before we closed our deal. Kubota also has contract prices for certain groups, religious, non profit, Gvmnt. Thought maybe Leonz was referring to them but wasn't sure. After looking at JD page the added purchases disc. is probably what he is asking about.

if you have a good kubota dealer you can get some good deals on tractors.i talked to my kub salesmen 6wks after i bought my tractor,an priced a gear 8540 4x4 ROPS w/1153 loader an w/o,the prices was $32,800 an $37,400.then i priced the same tractor with hydro shift for $33,800 an $36,400.an he said since its you i can prolly let you have it for $35,800 or a tad lower.

I have to wonder how many people are going to buy two tractors with in 12 months and if $500 is really going to be a deciding factor. I'm guessing most will be either businesses or maybe people who made a really bad choice and need to replace what they bought.

What if someone does buy 2 within 12 months and DOESN'T replace one and keeps both or all three of them? Would that be one of those that made a really bad choice people?:D I do see you have three pieces of equipment listed, did you not buy all three of them?:) Maybe one or two were gifts. Now think before you say you didn't buy all three of them in the same twelve months and decide if that really matters.:)

Some people will buy more than one. A small business that say got a new contract. They buy a tractor and then relizes that they need a second. Or someone who buys a BX to mow the lawn and is really impressed so they by a larger tractor for other choirs. Like Tripple R says, one tractor usually doesn't fit every application. IMO the number of people would be small when you throw into the mix the 12 month requirement. After all buying one tractor is a major outlay of cash or a pretty sizable financial obligation if a loan is taken out.

So maybe I didn't say it well but I'm thinking most people can only buy one tractor a year (probably more like 3 or more years),. It would be nice if JD (or Kubota) would extend that out to say 4 years. I think a lot more people could take advantage of it. Of course because so many people love their Kubotas I don't think Kubota needs to offer a thing. :D

As for me both of my Cases were bought within a year of each other. They were both used otherwise I never could have since I paid no where near new price for them. My plan was to just get the BH and then sell it a few years later after building my house. Unfortunately my land was too step and operating the BH in the woods on a hillside working around holes from stumps I dug up wasn't safe. So plans do change.

Of course tools and equipment like tractors are things that I can never seam to part with :D. The difference between you and I would be that you were smart enough to trade in some of your tractors. I would have a dozen sitting around the house .

Most often its someone who bought a tractor and comes back to buy an RTV.

Kubota does not play half the pricing games that CNH and Deere will play. Unless your gov/non-profit/NJPA or multi-unit there is nothing.
