I think I lost my tractor!

Wow, another beautiful barn. I'm so jealous of you guys. Mine should be decent if I can ever get it finished.

That sure is going to be nice with good flooring and lots of space, plus it just "looks" like a barn. We have some metal buildings that are pretty nice as to size, but lack a lot in aesthetics.

There are days that I would take functionallity over aesthetics.

If the weather and budget cooperate this summer, maybe I can get a usable floor in it, even if it's gravel. I had to pull the trailer out to refill it with hay last week and almost couldn't get it back in due to the mud.
The first pic below is when I first put the trailer in last summer. The second is from this week.:(

Speaking about barns, here's what ours looked like after the Labor Day storm we had a little over ten years ago. Thank God for good insurance. The main barn is over one hundred years old and we thought we were going to have to tear it down.

WOW. I would have been pulling my hair out in dispair if I had such a beautiful barn and something like that happened to it.:( Your post leads me to believe that you were able to save it. Any current pix?

I can sure identify with that, I finally put crushed rock in two areas of our barn while the other two are pretty low. I also put in a culvert to allow easier entry and water drainage. I will put some more rock in this spring or summer, but there is no hurry as I am not using these sections now.

I really need to put rock all around the "barn lot", but I like the way it looks with grass. There are times, we just can't get into the barn without a major mess.

What a shame; would also love to see pictures of it now. I just love old barns.

These are shots of when it was completed ten years ago. It needs to be repainted soon. Actually, if it wasn't for the storm and the damage we could have never got it looking like that.

What a beautiful barn.

As a teenager, I earned my money working in the fields and bucked a lot of hay; saw a lot of really nice barns, but most are gone now.

I can relate, not the best picture, but got a chance to snap on my break from shoveling:mad: If I had the space we would be a 2 tractor family...oh well perhaps when I retire and we get the next place.

Seriously, that bucket is too high. I realize she only had a light load, but high bucket, ground obstacles hidden by the snow, no ballast, small tractor, and ROPS disabled is asking for trouble.

Ken

For her sake and yours, I have to agree here with Ken....

Good thing a cab won't fit through the barn door. She's mentioned it a few times and even said that she's jealous of me when I clear the driveway with the L. She's not getting near the L!
