Thanks, J_ J!!
Most of the parts were on the steel rack last time you were over.

What is the commercial name for this implement? Every reference I google gives me grader boxes or blades.

Thanks. I've looked at the Grade Master but when trying to find information I couldn't find a implement name for these.

This one was adapted from a design by a company in south Mississippi called Dura-Grader, which is also where I purchased the blades. I got a first hand view of Wayne Freeman's unit when I picked it up for him, and he also did a sketch of it for me. I supplied my own measurements to adapt it from his five footer to my seven foot blades.

If you are still looking try googling "Landplane" or "Towable Road Grader."

smiley,

Do you have any pictures of the angle iron added to your box blade?

Thanks, the implement probably gets used more than any other I have, other than a bush hog. Don't know why I waited so long to build it...

I got some questions about this on another forum... so I thought I would bring it back to the top in case anyone hasn't seen it.

Just thought I would bring this back to the top for people that are considering building something alone this line.

Well, it has been some time since you posted this and I just found it but since I can't scroll through photo bucket and it buries me with adds it is just too tedious to look at them all. Hope you finished and it works well.

The scrolling should be available using the arrows on the screen, but I just went to it and see what you mean by the ads. Since I don't usually go look at the pictures I posted after I check them a time or two to make sure they work, I was surprised at the amount of ads. Wonder when this started, as I have never had anyone say anything about it. (or are people just trying to be nice by not saying anything??). Anyway, I guess I need to find another hosting site.
Look at the smaller pictures and if one interests you, then click on only it.
Sorry for the inconvience. Yes the implement was finished, and gets used regularly!

The best way to display images using photobucket is just click on the direct tab on the right and use the image tag
. Then the full image just shows in your post without any ads.

Okay I stand corrected. The image displayed when I previewed it but I see it doesn't now.

No Drama. I tried to look again and got bombarded with adds. When the thing makes my screen explode and change tone I just close the link up.

Photobucket isn't real high on my lists of good websites right now.

Yeah, I just tried to login to see if I can delete my account and it won't even let me log in. I signed up back in the day you just had to create a user name and password so I don't think I even have an email associated with it. Guess they have all my images and I can't delete them.
