What price can I expect for a cabbed M7040? I do not want a loader. The only option I would want a hydraulic shuttle, and a second hyd set in the rear. So a very basic model.

What do you guys think is the absolute lowest cash price I can deal on this tractor?

Go to the Kubota website and build one exactly like you want. Then take the quoted price and deduct 10%.

That can be your starting point for an offer. Some folks have gotten deals to 14% off but don't expect too much more than that unless it is an older model and has been sitting on the lot for a while.

It has not been my experience that "cash talks" quite as much when buying a tractor.

We tried to buy from our local dealer - I'd recommend you do the same. We ended up buying from Barlow Equipment - Home of the Kubota Tractor Package Builder - we're glad we did. Good luck!
