Even with your time, you are so far ahead on that tiller that you have to consider it a real bargain, probably more like a gimme.:D Great job and good luck on finishing up.:thumbsup:

I know when you "Need what you need, and you NEED IT NOW!", you have to bite the bullet. But we've got Bearing distributor in this area that put John Deere to shame on pricing. If you can recover the number stamped on the side 'race', your golden for shopping around....~Scotty

Wel, i got the gear box back together but still need to reassemble everything once the paint dries. Pictures soon. :thumbsup:

My tiller has definatly came a long way, im glad that i salvaged it otherwise i'd still wish i had one. :laughing: Thanks for all the comments guys, i will definatly keep them in mind for when my next bearing goes out. :thumbsup:

Well, i got my tiller back together. New bearings in and new oil. I hooked it up to the 3032E and tried it out and it sounded great and ran smooth. The only problem i found was a small oil leak on the front of the gear box bellow the PTO slip clutch. I will have to fix that but other than that I am very pleased that it is fixed and opperable again. :thumbsup::D

Nice job Jake. If the tiller is only seeping a tiny amount of oil, I wouldn't even worry about it. If it is like mine, you use it a couple of times per year and then it sits most of the time doing nothing. Just remember to check the oil level in the spring before first use and keep an eye on it.
