Has anyone added warning lights to your tractors? (strobes/lightbars/beacons) I've seen some people with them before and I'm looking for ideas. Pictures are always welcome.

4shorts has strobes on his tractor. He has a rotary light on top of the cab, strobes mounted on his loader arms facing sideways, and flashing lights mounted on the rear of his snowblower. Sweet setup. His workmanship is 1st class, always. I too am interested in getting some type of "clear" strobes vs. amber. The school buses here in Harford county Maryland have a clear strobe on the roof that flashes all the time. You can really see them for quite a distance, especially in foggy weather. I'm thinking "clear" might be a good choice while pushing snow. Having googled strobe lights they are quite pricey for good ones.
I'm just kinda getting an idea. I will be using at the side of a public road, but on private property.
An other consideration, the back scatter of a flashing light from snow, rain and fog may be distracting to you or drivers around you, while a steady light will be less objectionable.
Will you be using your tractor on or near any public roads? If so check your local DOT regulations. some areas require the use of amber lights, or beacons on tractors.
Just a thought.
myself I use an LED strobe.
Is that a magnetic base on your lamp?
No. It's screwed to a piece of 1/4" plywood, painted black, and stuck on with 3M double stick tape
Still might not hurt to comply with DOT.
here's another thought, most people will recognize amber lights as caution/warning lights.
I've got two tabs welded to the underside of the rops.
A twin halogen beacon is fastened to the tabs.
Wiring runs inside the rops to factory-style rocker switches on the right fender.
Don't have pics of the switches handy, but I can take one if you like.

Well thank you very much sir. I appreciate that! It was nice of you to say so
Yes I've added some lights to the tractor. The first thing I did was custom build a light bar to place on the top of the machine. I didn't want it directly on the cab so I mounted it on the two side brackets that the lollipop lights mount on.
I then put a double strobe light on that light bar and added two LED lollipops in the place of the factory lollipops.
I'm plowing commercially and on the road a good bit so I want to be see so I built boxes for the rear snow blower and mounted LED strobes back there.
Some times when I'm backed into a short driveway my fel and blade is out in the road so I built boxes and mounted them on each side of the fel so traffic can see me side on. These lights are white strobe Super Nova's and are very bright. Our transportation department states only government vehicles can use blue colored light. Amber or red in the rear is acceptable.
Here are a few pics and video's. Hope this will give you a few ideas.
