Good list, did you find any sites you could free and legally download any of them without a signup requirement and e-mail address so you don't get any of their junk mail?

I never thought of that. I gotta get with the times and start downloading stuff, that's a great idea.

I DVR Gunsmoke and Bananza and watch them over and over. The Rifleman probably my favorite but its not showing anywhere right now.

I noticed that Ben and the boys were pretty much a$$holes the first season, then they became the good guys.

Festus is my favorite Gunsmoke character.

Too bad they aren't still making these. At least we get a decent western TV movie every now and then, like Open Range.

Festus is my favorite Gunsmoke character.

When they lost Chester, I thought that might hurt the series, but then Festu was better than Chester ever way.

The name of the western series I'll never be able to think of but I don't think it was on original major list.I know someone here will remember, it involved Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.If on list already please accept my appologie in advance.

Alias Smith and Jones?

They were a take off of Butch IMHO.

I just found Rifleman on Direct TV channel 365. 5-6pm also Lone Ranger at 4:30 and a Bat Masterson episode on Sat.at 5:30. It's a religious network called Lesea Broadcasting.

Did you know Festus ( Ken Curtis ) was lead singer for The Sons of the Pioneers, played in many early John Wayne movies and was married to Director John Ford's daughter. He sang I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen To Maureen O'Hara in the John Wayne/ John Ford cavalry epic Rio Grande
