I took a nail today in a lug and the repair went well. When I refilled the tire with air, I noticed a leak at the valve stem. To my dismay it's not the insert but the seal at the rim that has failed.

I really can't afford down time I need to excavate in the morning and I had to go to work at noon today so no time for a trip to the tire shop. I am considering something that I thought I would never do, slime my rim. In one respect it may save me another repair in the near future. My yard is quite a mess.
Any thoughts or experiences are welcome.
