Thanks guys I have been doing some searching using the brand word "sidewinder" and have found a bunch of info on the tire drive style but little on this one, I am hoping to find a model number just for my curiosity.

Not trying to hi-jack the thread but is this a Sidewinder with the tire drive? I scarfed this pic off the internet a couple years ago so have no knowledge of it other than it appears to be a tire driven unit. I was just curious about them since I've never seen one up close and in person. From what I've read about them, the biggest drawback was mowing in light rain or mowing in really wet grass, that could make the tire slip on the disc. True??

Yeah, That's one.

The biggest problem was adjustment of the tire pressure. Underinflate, and it would slip. Rain and wet grass were only a problem then.
