What is your favorite summer drink?

My new favorite is 1 part Rhubarb juice, 1 part lemonade and 1 part Rum. :licking:

where do you get rhubarb juice? I mean other than grinding and squeezing it yourself... Also... isn't part, or to much rhubarb poisonous?

I do like strawberry rhubarb pie though...

When it's hot out and the sweat is pouring and there is more work time ahead a jug of cool water laced with lemon juice sure goes down good. Can't be too cold or you can't drink it.

But when the sweat time for the days is behind you then a very cool Product of Czechoslovakia brewed to the standards of 1500 and something and stored in glass sure goes well!:thumbsup:

I make the juice.

The leaves of the rhubarb are poisonous, I have never heard of the stem being poisonous in high volume.

Most any drink has about 98 % water in it, except alcohol.

An ice cold beer out of the fridge in the shop. Nothing much better than an ice cold beer. Sometimes they start going down a little too smoothly though, then the work slows way down:laughing:

I was beginning to worry about my colleagues on TBN.

Water??? Funny fruit juice??? Milk???

Make that two voting for a icy cold beer as my favorite summer drink by far. Gin and tonic when sitting on the porch watching sunset but beer for thirst. While working I keep a can of V8 on the tractor in case I get thirsty as nothing else tastes good at room temperature.

Water: don't forget as WC Fields commented on why he doesn't drink it- "fish pee in it". (actually what he said they did in it was a more carnal activity but this is a family forum).

I can tell you whats Not my favorite list, I just try drinking a glass of plum & blackberry juice, yeeeeuck! the wifes on on a health kick, she drinks a glass of orange juice every day, and ask that I do the same although OJ gives me heartburn, I think I'll stick with my Maxhouse in the morning and (Fresca) when I'm thursty
