I have a 3340 Special Edition 4x4 with a zetor 100 front end loader. I have a Shaver HD8 post driver. Is there an adapter to run the return line into the tractor? What is the best return location? Is the only one/best one the hydraulic fill location between the operator's feet? Is there a special adapter for that location? Thanks!

That is probably the best place to dump the oil. I have made adapters. Have you checked with Zetor or Shaver? Ken Sweet

The return line should be large and reasonably short to allow the ram to free fall well.

Thanks gentlemen.

The line is big and I have something of a fitting that works but I am worried the pressure in the return line will cause it to pop off. The distance to the hydraulic fill seems a bit farther than necessary and I thought there might be a location somewhere in the rear of the tractor as well.

I have emails in with both zetor and shaver as well so we will see.

I will have to try it. Thanks again.

This is good. There should be no restriction to the return line. If your fitting is wide open - say at least 1/2" straight thru you are good. The reason this is so important is that during the last part of fall of the ram it will be travelling fast and you will be dumping in the neighborhood of 60gpm+ to the reservoir. Any significant pressure in the return line will resist the flow and limit ram fall speed.

Just FYI in case anyone else has this issue. The solution from Zetor was to cut the hose, use a hose clamp and tighten her down. The threading on the hydraulic oil fill is an interior one. It worked just fine. It was a very common sense solution.

I know this is an old thread, but ZetorShaun, how did this work? Any pictures? i'm in the same boat with a 5211. Do you think my 5211 would run a HD10?
