Loader Whine and slow loader

Went to use the 3316 HST today and it must have a stuck valve in the loader or something. It's whining and the loader is really slow. Am I correct in assuming it has something stuck in the hydraulics somehow? Backhoe works fine just the loader slow. Any suggestions on a fix?

Joel,
Try to isolate the whine. Have someone operate the loader to make the noise and with a screwdriver.........place it on the various parts of the loader system with the handle up near your ear.

Joel,
I think you have the backhoe on and the 3ph arms are still on, and the position control lever is in the up position trying to lift the arms, but can't. If that isn't the case play with the knob below the seat that controls the 3ph drop. I think one of these things will solve your problem.

The 3 pt arms were taken off immediately after purchase.
Funny thing is the loader will curl the bucket back with good speed but will not raise or lower at a decent speed nor dump. Whine goes away when you are moving the hoe in any position.

Did you try turning the knob below the seat?

Figured it out today. Seems the chicken pooh had stuck the connector coupling open just enough that it partially released the line going back to the loader. I dont know how it had enough pressure to move the loader. Bj said I really should wash the thing. Used it today to dig up some big sand stones and do some landscaping for nana.

It happened to me with my backhoe.:laughing: I was packing and wiggling with the backhoe bucket and a line connector popped just enough to stay visibly hooked up, but not enough for a pressure connection.

I thought a relief valve popped and stuck open.:confused2:

Glad to here you found the problem. It is tough to similate that in the engineering department. I seem to have strange things like that happen as well.

No room on a farm for a Whine and slow loader. I was doing some old fashion pitch forking today and thought of my son who was helping. He does a good job but I will have to tell him tomorrow don't whine and be a slow loader. :laughing:
