Tested the ROPS yesterday. Made a few years ago out of 4" pipe and never thought I would really need it. i was moving a stump with the boom pole, lost traction on the front spun around and rolled over. The Yanmar is OK and me too, both just scratched up some. I posted pics in the Yanmar Photo section. Be careful out there!

Glad you and the tractor were unhurt. From the looks of the pictures, I bet it was a scary ride.

I bet that was a sphincter tightening experience.:)
I've rolled my 4-wheeler a time or two but so far i've been lucky on the tractor.
Glad your ok!!

Better to test them now than waiting for the accident to build them, good thing you took the time.

Wow......must have been quite a ride. Glad you're OK and the tractor too! Good warning.......it's easy to not be careful......until something happens.

Yep i also tested mine a few months ago, it also passed. it doesnt take much to tip them over at times.

Wow, Glad your OK after that !! I would like to show your pics to everyone I see operating their tractors with with their foldable ROPS in the folded position just to remind them what they are for. Keep it shiny side up!!!

One more question............how did you get it right side up again?

Im wondering that as well. That is the reason I have ROPS on both my tractors.

I think I figured out why it rolled...your not suppose to drive it on the roof of the house. lol

Glad to see that it passed the test and you're OK. BTW, Welcome to TBN.

To put back on it's wheels we used a come along hooked to what is supposed to be the top of the ROPS and the back of a pickup. When i first looked at it on it's side it was one of those "what am I gonna do now?" moments.

Did it start up again OK, or have you gone there yet? Be careful - lots of damage can be done when you start it.
