Kubota B7500
I've had my Kubota B7500 for several years now, just retired, and want to get some implements to get more use out of my tractor. I need a manure spreader, chain harrow, and box blade.

I haven't looked a lot yet for the box blade, but I'm concluding all manure spreaders are made in the eastern half of the U.S. (sigh). Does anyone have any recommendations for where I can find (new or used) these implements in the area of Everett, WA? Thanks for any info you can give me.

Need to go to an ag town. Try the tractor dealers in Mount Vernon or Chehalis. Craig's list is pretty good too. The Capital Press out of Salem, Oregon has lots of ads for implements originating in the Willamet Valley if you want to go that far (and avoid sales tax).

West Valley Sales in Mount Vernon is worth checking out. I bought a Box Blade (Modern Mfg.) from them a few years ago and they were very competitively priced. They may also carry the other implements you are looking for as well.

There are 2 dealers I know of in Everett - Sound (Kubota, LandPride) and Brim (NH). There is also a Brim in Mt Vernon. There is a Cub Cadet dealer in Monroe.

I have been using Farmer's Equipment Co. in Burlington. They carry Rhino implements among others.

This was just posted on Seattle CL:

manure spreader

Looks a little big for a B7500.

As to manure spreaders, I had a ground-driven Wallenstein which is Canadian. They advertise on this site now but I don't see any dealers listed in WA. The problem with traditional spreaders is that they don't break all the clumps evenly. I notice that abiequine.com has a hopper style spreader like a larger version of the Newer spreader. (abiequine also markets the TR3 groomer so be warned that they are pretty aggressive marketers)

When I moved here I switched to a dump trailer. I haul to TopSoils NW in Snohomish. They take it free (so far anyway).

Off topic- Old Blevins, your screen name is familiar - Are you a welder?

I wish! I have an old stick welder I need to learn how to use, but no one would accuse me of being a welder. Old Blevins is a song by the Austin Lounge Lizards.

Excellent tips, bota7800 - thanks! Sound Tractor is one I knew of, but not the rest. I'll check 'em out.

New Holland/Brim has closed their Everett location, Mount Vernon is still there.
