This little guy landed on my son this morning.

I was on the city bus years ago and a woman had a great big praying mantis sitting right on top of her hairdoo. She did not know it was there.

I thought about it and decided to tell her. She freaked out, then got immediately off the bus. Probably should not have told her.

I felt bad for the mantis

It's a Nikon D90 with the 18-105 kit lens. Photo #2 was manual focus, both were hand held with a little fill flash.

Agree about the camera, I'm still waffling on what to get and am leaning towards the D90 as I think my old Nikkor lenses should fit it.

I bought my wife the D90 a couple months ago. She absolutely loves it. It's our first D-SLR and I think we made a good choice.

Hey BR,

It's a fine camera, but only as good as the photographer. Thus most of my photos are mediocre. Attached are a couple I took in the UP of Michigan this summer.
