with 60hrs now on my 3032E & not realy convinces the loader could take actual work, I am now convinced the tractor & loader are much tough. The loader suprises me.I think it is more in design of the loader than heavy steel which it does not have, but the strapping of loader from the front lower brush guard area is a definate +. reason I am posting is if any new owners are babing there 305 laoders etc,, no need..I have so took 30 stumps of similar size to pictured, 450' of large drainage ditch with loader bucket alone in wet & hard clay. used a 5' box scaper really hard in heavliy treed 5.8acre property. Also a single point ripper worked really hard. But crazy loader borderline abuse. it takes it fine. Also fullloades of 1 1/2" rock all day, & long rough terrain. Also put insome colvertswith the loader. no problem, front tires are off the ground more than on, but part of the stump game..all fun for me, like a trophy when I get a big one out....So if your worried about the load arms etc,,like I was, don't be, they can take it & then some. So far a great running machine that is getting worked hard. JD will probably revoke my warranty after this post *s*

That's a great looking tractor. I think a tractor looks well proportioned when the top of the back tires are higher than the bottom of the seat pan.

I don't think that using your equipment to capacity is abuse as long as you use your brain about it. These are tough little machines.

What brand of subsoiler is that hanging out back?

That is a Rankin subsoiler. The smallest they make I think. Yep ...I am not hanking on them with chains etc, just digging them out on 4 sides & sometimes 6 to 8 sides, cutting tap root with chainsaw if needed. That tractor in your avatar is what I would say is a really nice looking tractor...I almost traded up for a 4000 series & wish I could have just for bigger is better sakes, but I do find the compactness & lighter weght to be my friend for not tearing rutting up property to much & manuvering aroung these dang trees..This is also my 1st tractor & seems to be a good 1st tractor for me. They are some seroiouse JD fantaics & retore types around here in this part of the PNW, in fact ..they just closed the srteets in my small town this weekend & they all came out,,very nice machines bieng rolled out of vintage. The bucketblade I can see flexing somewhat sometimes, but have not put a permanenet bend in it yet when working roots, rockingstump etc..At 43 I really don't know how I ever lived without a tractor & don't plan on finishing out my time without one..

Obviously you have filled your rear tires yes??? Seems like you would still need a weight box (or at least a heavier implement attached) with the load so far out in front of the tractor??

Yep they are filled, rear tires will come up when working a stump if not carefull , but I don't like a large implement at this point when doing fast paced loader work or digging with bucket at this point in time, I have a 5' box scraper that add weight, but reallt don't like having it there untill it is scraper time. I have not had rear wheels come up on any load so far when just hauiling loads, even full buckets of rock, I will get in time some front weight & rear ballast box just to have them when I need it. Slowly collecting implements as needed. I am mostly @ about 2200 rpm when working hard or packing heavy bucket loads, How much is a good balast box..? I have alot of obsticals as in trees etc when working & shorter the better for me it seems, at least till I get better at operating machine.

Deere sells a good ballast box, it'll run you a couple hundred at the dealer but it's very much worth it. It's a necessity with any kind of loader work. I find that if I don't have the ballast box on the 3320 when I'm just going up and down the hill on my driveway while the loader is empty, I have to use 4 wheel drive to keep complete traction or my rear tires spin or slide down the hill. I even have filled tires at that. Ballast makes a big difference.

Just had my 1st problem.......**** the luck..
I have a loud intermentant pop when useing 2WD with light load. I usually use 4wd & it doesn't seem to do it in 4wd, but in 2wd it is a very bad sound coming from tranmission -axle area..this is a bummer..I'm really getting along with this tractor for work..off to a JD dealer it goes & for who know how long,..
dang the luck
The dealer that sold it to has become a pain on another machine I bought from him,..CubCadet M72 Tank KW, so I will try to get in to a differant dealer 25 miles N. of me. hopefully the new dealer does rake me on pickup charges..
I will let you know what the problem was when this bad trip is over. Wrong time of year to be machine down..Maybe run it till it goes..?nah.. crap the luck

Man, that's terrible.:( Hope it doesn't take too long to get fixed.

That's too bad to hear, hope it's a simple fix. As far as the Tank, I'd throw it out the first chance you get, Cub Cadets are just MTD Walmart specials these days.
