My problem with the abrupt stop in the BX2350 has been fixed. It's gone. In it's place is a BX2660.

Its sad saying goodbye to the old but you loose the idea when you drive around the new one. It was like the new one was waving bye to the old one as it was hauled away.

It's like cars. I like em, I don't love em. Never bothers me to see one go but I would probably feel different if there wasn't a new one left to replace the old one.:)

I just put a Sun Guard LLC canopy on my BX2660 - love it!
I have a canopy left from my old L3240 so I'm trading it to Barlows for one to fit my BX, but I don't know what it is, because they don't have it yet. Mowed some today and really need a sun blocker. Post pictures of yours. I'd really like to see it installed.

That is the same way that I fixed my problem with the abrupt stop in the BX2350, although I only had mine a couple of days. I really like my BX2660 and I am sure that you will be liking yours. Congrats and best of luck, Tim

You should have just gotten the BX2660 directly and skipped the BX2350.
How come ya didn't do that?

I virtually did. I've got one of the earliest ones in Michigan with a very low serial number. Returned the BX2350 almost immediately after delivery. When it was unloaded from the trailer and I found reverse and said that that was unacceptable. Than at that time I was seriously regretting selling my BX2230! Had to wait for the first BX2660's to arrive. Lucky that I found out thet the new series tractor was about to start to be released. If it would of been on the Kubota website or in the showroom it would of been a no brainer.

It's a great ride. It also doesn't jerk when you stop when backing up like all the other BX's instead of the 50 series. Great mowing power. My mowing is back to being fun and enjoyable again if that's possible mowing. You'll like it.

The non jerk rear stop is great on all the BXs except the BX1850 BX24 and BX2350.

Did the BX24 have the jurky rear stopping?

Thank you TBN members! I almost bought a 2350 locally...until I found this website and started looking around. Went to the dealer and drove both. After that, I went with the 2660 and couldn't be happier. Granted, I only have about 10 hours of bush hogging and FEL work on my new machine, but it has been impressive so far. I have 13 acres of hilly and often kinda' rough territory. There have been several episodes of "I probably really shouldn't try this, but..." and it has never let me down. (Never fear Safety Net folks, nothing TOO risky).

LB -- may the BX2660 wasn't out yet when JohnThomas bought his BX2350.
You have to learn to keep up with LBrown, sometimes he's all over the place. Sometimes I have no idea what his question or answer has to do with anything. I thought he was directing that at Flatlander so I ignored it. The BX2660 was just out, in the crate on the lot when I bought the BX2350 which I never test drove. After driving it I thought maybe it was me for awhile or a fluke happening. I had owned a BX2200 and a BX1500 so I felt there was no need for the additional power for the additional $900 at the time. It was also mostly for mowing. I had a L3240 with FEL if I needed more power. I went up to BX2660 this time because I added FEL and I felt it would put more money on the table for Kubota to make the trade. I would have been just as satisfied (or almost:)) with a BX2360. It's hard trading down or sideways with most dealers of anything but not impossible. I once traded an early 240Z to a dealer for 2 less expensive cars. I have to fight the "Tim the Toolman-More Power" demon but I've found after my 9th Kubota purchase in almost 6 years that more power isn't always better and for sure not needed in alot of cases.

That is how he has almost 13k posts. If your answers don't have to have anything to do with the thread, you can put up posts more quickly

Now I know. I've reread some before 5 or 6 times and thought "I have no idea what this is supposed to be meaning" now I just skim over and do a cha ching for him.
