Tractor
1959 MF-65 sold, 2007 Jinma 554 diesel.
Hi everyone,

I am considering selling my 1959 MF65 gas tractor as I hardly ever use it (have a newer tractor) and could really do with the money (retired). I would sell it with two buckets and a Massey 6ft sicklebar mower.

Tractor - everything works and no oil leaks/consumption - clear exhaust, tinwork fair and no major rust. Fluids and filters all changed on regular basis. Everything works - 3pt hitch, draught controls, one set rear remotes, FEL, power steering, PTO, dual clutch etc.

I am in central BC and the tractor prices here are usually quite high - I just need to get a feel of what to expect.

Thanks

Jim

Thanks Soundguy,

Actually I had a figure of $5,000 OBO in my head but had no real basis for that value, other than what I know the local market sells and what I have learned on this and other websites.

Thanks for the validation.

ditto that.. there are some regional price differences sometimes... however as a baseline.. it's a good mahcine and worth decent money if in serviceable condition.

All I can do is give you my opinion of what that would sell for here in Kentucky.

Just the tractor, in good condition, w/remotes, decent rubber, ect, would bring $4500 to $5000 to the right buyer. Loader adds another $750 to $1500 depending on quality of said loader. 2nd bucket surely adds a few more bucks. 6' MF sickle bar is $250 to $500, depending on model and condition. As a package deal, I'd suspect it would bring (on average) around $6000 (again, to the right buyer)

Masseys are VERY popular around these parts.
