Feel stupid - MMM attachment

So, got the BX23 home yesterday. It came with a deck and grass catcher attached. Everything worked just fine when we picked it up. When we got home, in order to get the front plow of the trailer, wife and I unhooked the MMM (easy) and drove the tractor back up to hook up the plow and got that off the trailer as well. All good.

Today I am trying to get the deck back on and and the rear arms wont come down. Same with the three point arms. I hear the pump buzzing and they try to move when I try to go up, but won't come back down. Help?

Did you set the deck height adjustment to the lowest setting? It's the knob in front of the seat.

I have not turned that knob at all, I think it's set to 2.5 now. 3 pt arms don't move either tho?

There should be another knob in front of the seat. It is a restrictor that adjusts lowering rate. Yours is probably adjusted for the MMM weight. W/O it the lowering rate is extremely slow. You can either adjust knob CCW or stand on the 3ph lbottom arms to get it to come down at a rate you can notice.

I wouldn't think that the three point arms would be binding, but since the three point arms can keep the mower deck from dropping all the way, I would disconnect the lift arm linkage from the three point arms and see if anything changes.

Got it lowered and hooked up. I think you guys are right about the lowering rate. I ended up manually pushing on the 3pt arms to lower it. Thanks!
