Manual transmission can be both Synchro or non Synchro. You can not change gear in motion with non-synchro transmission and you have to come to full stop to change gear. Conversely, you can change gear in motion same as manual transmission used in cars in synchro tranny. Synchronizer bring driven and driving gear tothe same rotational speed so they can mesh without grinding. On some tranctor some or all gears might be synchronized so you can shift on the fly.

Spec sheet on the tractor should reveal it. older ones tend to be no-Synchro and newer one more likely to be partly synchronized. Sure bet would be to ask the owner or just try it. If you hit the sweet spot (right rotational speed) you might be able to shift up without grinding. In most cases put the tractor in a gear, start driving clutch and change gear... as soon as you release the clutch you'll know.

Take a look at the link below. It appears that 2110 is Synchromesh but it does not say if all or some gears are.

If it has one shifter mounted on the steering column and one on the transmission cover, it's a synchro. Both sticks mounted on the transmission cover, it's a non-synchro.
