I need to clean the bottom of the deck on my BX2350. It a 60"mmm. I hurt my back a week ago, and even though its feeling better, I'd like to use my FEL to lift it up and stand it up on a set of Larry's axle stands that if have. Where is the best place to hook on to the deck to do this? The only place I see would be the front brackets for the anti scalp wheels.

I would say the wheel brackets are the best place. I would try to hook to all four corners if possible.

I must have lifted the MMM from my BX 100 times by wrapping a chain around the wheel brackets. I stored the deck in a shed and would carry it from the shed to my garage and vice-versa several times a year for nine years. You'll be fine.

Volfandt,
Thanks for the pics, I have a 48" deck and with some dollys can move it easy enough, but if I get the bigger tractor and MMM one day or if my back is down what they show me will come in handy!

Watch out for your pto shaft. It will probably slide apart when you lift the deck up.

The picture from the front showing the chain lifting your MMM looks like something from a sales brochure...Very nice...I need to install some hooks on my FEL on my BX23.

Thanks for the input guys. I ended up just using the FEL to lift the front end up, set some axle stands under it, and got the blades off and cleaned the deck up. I will likely use some of the suggestions this fall when I go to store the deck.

My owners manual states approximately 250 lbs.

My back is just fine but I never even considered lifting the deck without the FEL assisting. What I would suggest is lift it so the blades are facing away from the tractor so you have room to work and you are not under the FEL at all. Block it up with a couple of 2x4's and still leave the chain hooked up for safety. Let one side rest on the ground instead of the whole thing flapping around up in the air. It would make it tough to work on it like that. Good luck and have fun.
