Has anyone purchased this product? I'm looking at a 4 in 1 and have looked at BRADCO, but ran into this for a nice price. Anyone have one?

I have a 72" CA 4-in-1 on my L39 with a bolt on cutting edge. The bucket has about 800 hrs of use and it is great. It is easy to use and service. The customer service from CA is about the best I have seen. It is helpful in a lot of chores but the capacity is less than the factory bucket. I really can't think of anything bad to say about this bucket.

Just a quick followup. I decided to purchase the Construction Attachment (CA) 6 foot 4 in 1 bucket. I was going to order it online, but my local New Holland Dealer matched the online price. I'll pay a touch more due to the sales tax, but they've always treated me well.

The Bradco 4 in 1 was not available with a bold on reversible cutting edge and it would cost over $1200 more to get the Bradco and add the cutting edge. The CA is a bit heavier and the construction is very good.

I did purchase the necessary hydraulic hoses I needed from DHH and that saved me almost $500 from material/labor at the dealer, so I did real well on prices.

Yep, I've got a CA 4n1 - 72 or 76, I forget which. With toothbar, which I'd strongly recommend.

No basis for comparison, but no complaints so far. Been tough and done what I want with it.

The best deal I could find on a medium duty or better 4/1 bucket was Kubota.

I got their 72" 4/1 bucket for $2250. I thought this was a great deal because it's an 800lb bucket, quite a bit heavier than the 660 lb buckets I saw elsewhere. Kind of between a heavy skid steer bucket and the lightweight buckets.

I was also able to finance it with my landpride rake for 5 years at 0% through Kubota financing.

I had the dealer weld on 7 replaceable teeth and paint the bucket the gray frame color for another $450.

I put the kubota 4n1 60" on my b26 and have not bent it yet and moved some rr4 that I really should have used the hoe and thumb for. I would say the 4n1 is one of the best parts of the tractor. I welded a hook on it this weekend to make it a little more useful and even repainted the hook with kubota paint.

Just wondering Powerstroke and Builder...any idea who it is that makes the 4in1 buckets for Kubota? I have a WRLong on my tractor, but was just wondering where Kubota is getting them from. I remember you were wondering about it too, Builder, before you got one. Any idea?

The Construction Attachment 4 in 1 has arrived. I'll pick it up on Friday and get it running - will give some thoughts then. I do like the idea of welding on a hook and will look to do that as well.

Do you have hydraulics up front yet? If not, it wouldn't be too soon to start that part of the project...

Redbug, there was a time that Woods made buckets for Kubota but they now make their own for loaders and backhoes. I can't swear their are making their own 4in1 bucket but it is likely.

I didn't know that, Mark. Never even thought about Woods. I will have to look them up.

The dealer told me it's built by Kubota in USA, but you know the average intelligence of a tractor salesman.

It's worth considering, especially if money is tight. It's pretty cheap to begin with and you can finance it for 0% for long term (up to 60 mos). The 4/1 bucket itself looks almost skid-steer quality. Very nicely built and heavy.

I needed one when I bought the Power rake and Landpride is "in" now with Kubota. You can finance landpride and Kubota attachments for 0%!

I also was told it was made by Kubota USA. If I had to guess he was correct as the pins and bushings look just like the ones on the backhoe.

Thanks Builder and Powerstroke. That's very interesting. I had assumed it was a contracted out item, and not built by them. Next time I am at the dealer I will look them over, (if he has one). Always comparing...that's how you get ideas for mods, etc.

Remember, that's what I was told by a salesperson. I was not able to confirm the claim that they are made by Kubota.

Your results may vary. :)

John - definately a great thought, but I'm all over it. Interestingly, I purchased everything I needed for a great price from Discount Hydraulics. I ordered items on a monday and box arrived Tuesday. Hydraulics are hooked up and ready to roll!

Evidently, Kubota used to sub out to woods/gannon, but is now making stuff in house. Caused a bit of delay when I lost the pin to my backhoe quick coupler.

OK, so the 4 in 1 has arrived. I'll start by posting some pictures of my work in preparing this for use. I ran the hydraulic lines from my rear remotes and followed existing lines to the front, where I used a simple cable tie to attach to my boom. Then, I chose a bungee to hold the 4 in 1 hydraulic line so that if I want to put on my forks, I can easily do that. Turns out my measurements for the hydraulic lines I purchased from discount hydraulics were perfect...glad I added a foot extra to what I measured!
