There is a point at just about 8 minutes into that video where the voice over says something about if you plan to do a lot of work in reverse there is a secondary shaft that you can use.
Something about turning the gear box over or around ?
I've never seen this mentioned anywhere else, e.g. on Paladin's harley site or in the .pdf owners manuals that I have found on line.
Given that the skid steer version is run "in reverse" and...... Ahh, but that is driven by a hydraulic motor, which is probably reversible anyway.
Come to think of it, the skid steer version travels in the same direction as the tractor version, the skid steer and operator are what travel in reverse.

Anyone else know anything about this ?

Side to side; by knocking off the high(er) spots along the axis of the drum and allowing that dirt to go sideways and fill in the low(er) spots.
In the direction of travel; again, by knocking off the highest spots between the gauge wheels and the tractor's rear wheels and "carrying" it front of the roller until a low(er) spot is reached.
These differences are slight, i.e. it ain't a dozer, so don't expect MAJOR changes in the landscape.
