Br'er Bear came a calling

Well, either Yogi or Boo-boo was by last night and smashed a bunch of my bird feeders up. Every couple of years this happens. I guess I will have to add more electric fence and bring my bird feeders in at night for a while. We are thick with black bears around here.

My friend has about 6 redbone hounds in an outdoor kennel -- funny he never seems to have a problem with his feeders.
Dont ya know you are only supposed to bait bears in the fall now in Ontario

I guess we're lucky here. Just the deer, turkey, and a racoon or two. I wouldn't like to have to worry about bears. There's been a couple seen in the area in the last few years, but I think they were just lost

So far Br'er bear has not been back. I've been bringing all of the bird feeders in at night but I don't want to stop feeding the birds as we got a whack of snow today.
