When you don't have an implement on the back you need a bungee cord pulling the two arms toward each other.

Depends on whether you bought it to admire it or to work it.

It's both California.But it seems I admire my tractor more in how it been Pounding out the power for over 30yrs. an still going strong.

The YM2000 don't care which one you use.

Small brush, weeds... What size would of brush hog or finish mower would be best for the YM2000? and does anyone have any helpful info on what size of implements this tractor can handle? This is my first tractor and am just trying to learn everything I can?

I would say ( given your hp & weight) 4 ft cutter. Mabe a 4-5 ft finish mower

From what you are discribing I would say a brush cutter,(bush hog).Medium duty 4ft. will serv you well.You can go 5ft. but there would most likely be a wieght problem wanting to lift the front wheels off the ground and having to add counter wieghts to the front.You can still cut grass with it but it won't give you quite as nice as a finish as a grooming mower.I use a 5ft.GM. just because I cut ALOT of grass with it all open fields.There is no problems with power or the weight since it rides on 4 caster wheels.It weighs 600 pounds so its not hard to peg the pucker meter when lifted.I loaded the front with lead so I don't have to worry to much if I forget I'm in high gear.

OK thanks for all of the info... now for another question...........
My 3 point hydrolics leaks off when it is not all the way to the top. Is that common with the 4' box blade on? When it is all the way to the top and the tractor is running it will stay. As soon as you shut the tractor off it bleeds off slow. It has no down pressure other then the weight of the box blade. Is that common?

Depends, some leakage is to be expected.

How long does it take to seep from top to bottom ?

When your sitting on the seat there is a nob in between your legs that is the hyd. lock out.Raise the lift then screw it in its closed.Turn off the tractor and see if it seeps down.If it does not then it's most likely a problem with the control valve.Make sure you open it back up or it won't move at all up or down.

Mine isn't exactly color coordinated. The tractor is lime green (Pre-1980 US Yanmar), the drawbar (I think its original) was once Deere green, rims orange (oversize, off a Kubota) and the chassis was black (US Yanmar colors) but now is more like rust color. The loader is beige, again with rust-color accents to set it off.

At least the new ROPS, the original subject of this photo, has fresh paint.

Cal.just trying to stir the pot alittle.What really matters is how dependable as to what it looks like.Truth is I replace more parts on it yearly than on the tractor.On the subject of ROPS.can anyone give me some leads on some that I can lower and raise quickly without giving up safety.I would like to be able to get under low branches.
