I hope to be able to do a little grading this weekend. Got excited a couple of weeks ago on a 50 degree day and tried. Ground was still frozen. Hope this weekend will be better. Anyone getting the itch to dig like me?

Yea , I can vouch for the itch. I have a popular tree stump roughly 2 ft in daimeter with my name on it that needs diggin up, but ground is soft mush right now. I'm flying to texas in 4 days and gonna miss the seat time .:( maybe eddie or bird or whoever is closest in fort worth can invite me over just to listen to the diesel engine run, and maybe push a lever or two. :D

What makes this tree stump so popular, and if it is so popular why would you dig it up?;)

I was thinking the same thing as I read that.

BTW, woke up a little while ago and there's a few flakes coming down. Isn't it spring today. Don't they know I need to dig.

It's good to thin the blood slowly for t-shirt weather, also give one chance to think on up coming outside projects. ;)

Got out there for a couple of hours yesterday. Have to move about 15-20 of earth where the new deck will go. I'll have to build a 2ft retaining wall and add some drainage. Got most of it dug out with the FEL. Ground was moist. No I have to grade it out with the box blade, then dig the footings.
