How many remotes??

I know this is an easy answer for many of you. Need to know how many rear remotes I will need to operate a grapple or thumb attachment? Rick, if you happen to read this pm a quote for the quick attachment you are having made for a CK20.

One "remote" will one DA (dual acting) cylinder (or more if they are paralleled like on your loader), or more simply, one function like dump/curl, lift/lower, or open/close.

Clear as mud?

You don't need any remotes for a grapple, you need a diverter valve for the front and a button on your loader handle.

But remotes often cost less than a diverter valve and have more uses. I've had both. Everyone assumes a diverter valve is easier to use but I actually found the remote simpler and about the same speed. A hydraulic topping lift is a nice bonus with the remotes too.
