Looks like the driver lost his left hand and arm.

As does the car in the back right. Look's more like a collage.

The thing that kinda stands out to me is a motorcycle standing upright with no rider and no kickstand down.;) That might be a clue.:)

With all that rain, how did that motorcycle get there without a drop on it? If it had been driven up, wouldn't it be dripping from the puddles and have mud on the tires?

Oh wait! That guy just pushed it out from under a canopy, kneeled down to hide while holding the bike, and said, "Okay. . .snap the picture." :)

I would not waste my time doing a Photoshop of that bike on that background. If I were going to do that, I'd find a much more attractive photo to use.

I think it's real.

So what is the back story on the pic?

not sure about any story,
just came across the pic at an
equipment dealer's website, listed
for sale.... and thought the pic was
interesting..

no kickstand,
mud with no tracks,
etc.....

but i do think the pic is original,
and just interesting

Cropped off his head, You can see his leg,arm hand. There is no shadow from the bike or guy. There are shadow from the other vehicles

Well, this is a huge disappointment! I couldn't see the photo at work, so I tagged the thread to check later.

First off, it's just a bad photo. The motorcycle (main subject?) was in the shade. You can see someone crouching behind the fairing holding it up. I think someone with some basic photoshop skills has tried to lighten the motorcycle. You can see halos around the wheels indicating some fringe between selections. They selected the motorcycle and used the shadows/highlights adjustment (not one of PS's stronger adjustments). The yellow light appears bright as they used flash and it reflected strongly giving the impression the light is on. It's probably only a reflector anyway, not a powered light. The flash they used couldn't overcome the strong daylight in the background. Which brings us to the background. Why would you clean up your bike and take the time to have someone hold it up, then photograph it with such a cluttered background. Also, look between the car in the upper right and the truck tailgate. Looks kind of muddled. Again, poor photoshop work. There must have been something especially distracting there (maybe a policeman walking up to the scene?). But hey, it's a good thing someone put a copyright and watermark in the upper left so no one else will use this image for their own profits!

It's not even a terribly important motorcycle! Sorry I got carried away, I frequent a couple of photo sites where image critique is a lot more challenging than this...

sorry to disappoint,
just saw it and noticed a few oddities so
i thought it might make for an interesting
discussion, and it has , i guess.

not so sure the holder of the bike isn't hiding
very well or if his head is ps'd out. looks like
a foot might be ps'd out of the inside of the wheel

who knows, but seeing the original picture would make
for a good contrast to see what really has been
edited.

here's a personal photo of mine, my son and my bikes
during a ride last year:
(sorry, no harleys)

I may have been too abrupt last night Dutch, I should have put a smiley after my comment about being disappointed :) <--- like that

And here I am at work again and cannot see your photo so it too will have to wait 'til tonight. I'm sure I won't be disappointed with you and your son!
