That is some really nice pictures!

Did you ever get your electric back on? (sure hope you did)

Our local weather channel is saying we could get 6+ for tomorrow and snow for Wednesday, but our local weather man is wrong most of the time.

I hope we don't get no more ice.

Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Thanks for the nice comments. Sorry, I forgot to say that this was some of my son's photo's. He has a photo competition coming up in the spring and he was out trying to get a "winner". And yes! we have power now. Came on about 3 PM Monday. Now comes the clean-up. Limbs down everywhere. Oh well, wood for the stove!

Glad you got your power back.

Be safe with the cleanup.

Great pictures! The one with the cardinal is a keeper and worthy of entering into competition. It is a winner! Thanks for sharing.

Great pictures, thanks for sharing. The one of the cardinal is really nice. We've struggled with pics of them ourselves. For some reason, their red color makes it hard for our camera to focus on them and they always seem a little fuzzy. It's just the cardinal that this happens to us, so we're assuming it's that shade of red. But we don't know for sure. Obviously it's not a problem for your son, that picture looks very crisp and bright!!!

That cardinal is a Kubota fan.
You can tell by the orange beak.

The picture of the cardinal is nice, but my favorite is the fence. The contrast of the straight lines of wire iced up on the left and their wavy shadows with faint outlines of the icicles shows your son understands the importance of camera angles and geometry of shapes. The fact that the only disturbed snow is way off to the left leaves a clean "canvas" to project the images. That's the one I'd pick.:)

Those pictures you got are really cool. Thank you so much for posting them! They are very fascinating to look at.

thanks from my son for the nice comments. I could post some "after the ice storm" pics but it's not a pretty site with all of the broken trees and limbs all over the yard.
